Rela Martine is an esteemed Emmy®️-nominated journeyman makeup artist specializing in Film and TV. Coming from a family of painters and musicians, she was inspired to channel her creativity into makeup artistry. At the age of 21, Rela embarked on her career in San Francisco, focusing on editorial makeup. Her passion and talent led her to Europe, where she worked and lived, contributing her skills to some of the most influential fashion shows worldwide.
Seeking greater challenges, Rela moved to Los Angeles to delve into the TV and Film industry. For over 25 years, she has been a steady and respected presence in the industry, often leading makeup departments on various productions. Rela is a proud member of Local 706, highlighting her dedication and expertise as a journeyman in her field.
Being a journeyman makeup artist signifies a high level of proficiency, reliability, and recognition within the makeup artistry profession. A highly skilled and experienced professional who has completed extensive training and has a significant amount of on-the-job experience in the makeup industry.
